Q: Who designed GS Prelims course material on UPSC Mantra?

Q: What should be the strategy for Prelims?  

Ans : As questions in prelims now a days are more analytical and conceptual it is advised to start preparing for GS Mains first and then study for prelims. You should start preparing for GS Mains in at least 9-10 months prior to the prelims exam. From january you can concentrate on GS and CSAT Prelims studies.

Q: How to start preparation for Civil Service Examination?  

Ans : To begin the preparation follow the initial steps:
  • Analysis of previous question papers
  • Understanding of Syllabus
  • Reading of basic study material
  • Start writing... easy questions

Q: How to plan for studying prelims?  

Ans : After preliminary study of the syllabus for GS and Prelims you can start for studying prelims examinations. You will get the guidance for planning for your study at UPSC Mantra. Mock test and analysis is integral part of your studies. So your plan shall include them.
